Anzac day

this week we have been learning about Anzac day.the in protein part is that you celebrate to the soldiers that died in the war.   Anzac day is a day that you go to the me-morel to celebrate to the one's that died in the war. we do a katakea. some one dose a poem then people join in at the end people leave there popes at the memorel.my favorite task was the word screech.

    Hi Toi
    I think it is important to celebrate ANZAC day too. I remember going to the dawn service last year and it was so dark and quiet. I remember noticing how quiet it was even when there were lots of people around. I wonder what we can do to celebrate ANZAC day this year, while we are in lock down?

    Kia ora Toi,
    Well done on completing your blog post. Thanks for sharing your ANZAC day knowledge with us. You are right, It is important to remember those who fought for our country all those years ago. When I was young I used to go the dawn parade with St John Youth and I would get to march in and stand near the soldiers. Have you had a go at drawing or making a poppy yet Toi?
